But Devyn is looking for her birth mother, and Marc isn't the only one trying to get her out of town. When things turn violent and Devyn is nearly killed, they join forces to find Devyn's elusive parent and get some answers, drawing them quickly into a morass of political turmoil, double-dealing, international intrigue, and threats of bioterrorism.
